1. Wish to live in the capital? The government will take the call.

2. Three generations punishment
In case any of the North Koreans commit a crime, not just the one who has committed the crime would face punishment, but his grandparents, parents, and children will have to face the strict punishment.
3. Falling asleep in a meeting is a big NO!
Falling asleep during a meeting is considered as a disrespect to the chief speaker. The North Korean defense minister was executed because he fell asleep during Kim Jong-un’s event.
4. Respect to the head of the state
A prefix has to be used while addressing the head of the state like ‘respected Kim’ or ‘dear Kim’.
5. Human waste is used as a fertilizer
During the face of deficiency of fertilizers, North Korea switched to use human as a fertilizer. Every factory is North Korea has to supply the farmers with human waste.

10. Women Are forbidden to drive
The only male government official can drive a vehicle. Hence very people own a vehicle in North Korea.
11. Restrictions on International telephone call
You need special permission from the higher authorities to make an international telephone call.
12. The government must approve your hairstyle
There is a very strict law regarding hairstyles in North Korea! 10 for men and 18 for women and going against it can lead to imprisonment.
13. Only 3 television channels
North Koreans have only 3 channels to watch and everything on these channels is under the control of the government.
14. Dictatorial regime
The government keeps a check on your religion. Carrying a bible can land you up under strict jail punishment.
15. Voting is a duty
Not voting in the election is illegal. The government also mandates that all the North Koreans vote for the same person.
